Langenburg Housing Authority manages social and affordable housing in the Town of Langenburg. The Housing Authority is regulated by policies and guidelines established by the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation and is governed by a local Board of Directors. The program is currently subsidized by the federal, provincial and municipal governments. 

Langenburg currently manages 40 social senior housing units (row housing and  complex) of which 38 are one bedroom suites and 2  are two bedroom suites located on the South side of Langenburg. 2 social houses (for families) and 16 affordable housing units (duplex style), which all consist of three bedrooms, located on the North side of Langenburg.

Langenburg Housing Authority provides safe and adequate housing to individuals and families in need. The intention is to serve households with low to moderate income, priority given to seniors (55+), and individuals with disabilities. The housing program is based on needs and availability of housing units.

Applications forms are available from Langenburg Town Office, Langenburg Housing Authority or from any Saskatchewan Housing Authority in the province. Upon receipt of a completed application and income verification, the Housing Authority will complete an assessment of the applicant's housing needs to determine priority for housing.

Social housing rent is based on 30% of gross household income.  A security deposit of $326 is required. The monthly rent for senior housing includes all appliances, heating, water, sewer, repairs and ground maintenance.  No vacancies at this time.
Affordable housing rent is a set rate of $534.00 per month and security deposit of one month's rent is required. Tenants are responsible for all utilities and maintenance of yard for grass and snow removal. All appliances are included.  No vacancies at this time.
**Pets are not permitted in any of the housing units.**

Langenburg & District Housing Corporation manages six one bedroom units.  Rent is a set rate of $490 for non seniors and $415 for seniors (60+)  which included all utilities and snow removal. Tenants are responsible for cutting the grass. and security deposit of one month's rent is required.  No vacancies at this time.
