The Homestead Museum Employment Opportunity: Student Curator The Langenburg Homestead Museum offers an opportunity to research and document local history in a small prairie museum. The Student Curator will interact with the public both individually and in groups, participate in programming and be responsible for cataloguing the collections. Of special interest will be the creation of the Canada 150 Interactive Timeline project. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, good organizational ability and computer experience. The Student Curator will be able to contribute to team projects as well as work independently. CPR and First Aid are assets. A Drivers licence is essential. The Student Curator will be required to work flexible hours to suit programming needs. This full-time job pays $15.00 per hour for twelve weeks. The Homestead Museum is located in the heart of Langenburg, a small prairie town on the eastern Saskatchewan end of the Trans-Canada Highway 16. Our home is a hundred-year-old house, maintained as a lived-in home. We host many themed workshops and entertainment events during the summer months.
